Institutional Research and Analytics collects and analyzes information about the University that supports the data-driven decisions of the University’s executive administration, the University community, and external agencies.
In addition, it produces a variety of weekly, term-based, and annual reports and dashboards.
These reports and dashboards are shared with senior leaders (e.g., Provost, Vice Provosts, Deans) to help them make data-driven decisions.
Areas of focus include enrollment, student/faculty diversity, retention, graduation rates, benchmarking, salaries, and student debt.

These salary reports are restricted to members of the University of Pittsburgh community. A valid Pitt ID and password are required to log in and view these reports.

The Faculty Activity Reporting system (FARs) exists to comply with requirements outlined in the appropriation bill enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Pitt’s Global Analytics and Insight Dashboard provides a high-level overview of Pitt’s engagement across the globe and summaries of student-centric data.

The University of Pittsburgh is dedicated to the pursuit of a truly more equitable and just Pitt. View information in the Diversity Dashboards.
